Every season Anekke goes on a journey in search of inspiration, a trip that takes us into cultures full of magic, history, incredible places and people who have done their bit to change the world. Are you ready to travel with us to the country of the rising sun?
First of all, get ready to find out about Anekke Contemporary and immerse yourself in a journey where your head, eyes and heart are aligned and focused to visit Japan through contemporary art. This collection is made up of three capsule collections: Anekke Kyomu, Anekke Origami and Anekke Nagare.
And secondly, Anekke Shōen, a collection inspired by the Japanese painter Uemura Shoen, a pioneer in the world of art because she managed to make painting a woman’s profession. With her art, Uemura depicts women in their daily lives, and our protagonist interprets this vision by creating very special designs. Anekke Shōen is also made up of various capsule collections: Anekke Padded, Anekke Palette, Ankke Brush and the recycled collection Anekke Nature Shodo.
Iconic pieces of the brand, trendy colours, inspiring words and new formats, innovations with a lot of Anekke essence are awaiting you in the FW23 season.
Anekke Contemporary interprets Japan through contemporary art.
The lights, colours, smells, tastes, culture and the typical iconography of Japan are depicted in each of the pieces that make up the collection. Anekke Contemporary is made up of three capsule collections: Anekke Kyomu, Anekke Origami and Anekke Nagare, the three of them have the same leitmotif: Contemporary Japanese art.
Each of them focuses on an aspect of Japanese culture. Anekke Kyomu uses dreams as the source of inspiration. The most colourful capsule of the collection is perfect for everyday use. It is full of typical prints of the Japanese culture and it is made up of products that are great to mix and match, which stand for the essence of Anekke.
Anekke Origami pays tribute to the Japanese technique of making shapes with paper; it highlights the power of imagination and manual work, to create beauty. In this capsule collection, the mix of textures turns the collection into a pioneer of trends.
Anekke Nagare speaks of the current that flows, one of the most beautiful words of the Japanese culture and it gives shape to a puzzle in which all the pieces fit together perfectly thanks to one common element. Words standout such as “be inspired”, the pieces cut by hand and the colour contrasts turn each bag into a work of art.
A collection influenced by the urban life of Japan, which always stays true to the beauty and sensitivity of its culture, and it highlights values such as creativity, originality and the capacity to thrill and unite people who have art.
Anekke Shōen is a collection full of values, which searches for its inspiration in the painter, Uemura Shoen, a Japanese artist who managed to make art a recognised profession for the women of her time.
This collection is made up of different lines, which have all been designed on a blank canvas that bring to life authentic works of art.
The Anekke Padded line is distinguished for its volumes and the padded effect, achieved through metallic tone embroidery on an original print inspired by painting. On occasions, the word Anekke can be seen in this embroidery.
Anekke Palette is characterised by the folded effect of the material, one of the oldest and most painstaking Japanese techniques, in which a print inspired by painting on a black base contrasting with red and blue tones is displayed. It is also full of unique details, such as the metal logo, the customised lapel pins and pull straps.
Anekke Brush is one of the most iconic collections that exist in this group. Its design is distinct because it combines different prints and finishes, as if they were unique master pieces. And of course, there just had to be 100% customisable details: lapel pins, patches, logo, and pull straps inspired by the theme.
Anekke Nature Shodo is the name given to the Nature Edition, which continues our work to look after the planet and the environment. It is special because the pieces of the collection are made with up to 80% recycled materials.
The name SHODO comes from a painting technique where the most important feature of this line is the print work and the design in 360 degrees, each piece is created individually and it is customised.
Anekke Shōen is a journey from the inside to the outside, where each bag or accessory has been created just as if it was a blank canvas, giving it a unique character and sensitivity.
Welcome to Anekke FW23.
